The School, located on Front Street, makes the most of its setting in downtown Harrisburg. Students develop interests and skills on regular trips to the nearby library, excercise and play in scenic Riverfront Park and swim at the YMCA. Accessing a wide range of community resources, they visit the Capitol, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, the State Museum of Pennsylvania, the Popcorn Hat Players and other cultural institutions.

Fee Schedule 2010-2011

Application Fee
There is a one time NON-REFUNDABLE application fee of $85 for all new students due with the application form.

Registration Fee
This is an annual, NON-REFUNDABLE fee due March 1st.

For Returning Students: For New Students:

Tuition Costs

Basic Tuition (8:00 - 3:00): $5,000/year for one student ($3,795/year for each additional child)
Extended Day (7:30 - 5:30): $6,100/year for one student ($4,895/year for each additional child)

(Students may use the Afterschool Program, occasionally, for $15.00 a day per student or $122 per month.)

Payment Plans - All accounts must be paid in full by May 1st.

Financial Assistance Information for 2010-2011 School Year

The Board of Directors of Saint Stephen's Episcopal School has adopted a fee schedule for the 2010-2011 school year. When financially possible, tuition payments may be made on a semester basis in two installments. The first payment is due August 1 and the second in January. Annual tuition payments also may be made. Payments made on a monthly basis will begin either June, July or August, according to the payment plan you indicated on the enrollment application.

Families who wish to apply for Financial Assistance must submit an application form to the Head of School, accompanied by the family's 2009 federal tax return. All information will be kept strictly confidential and will be available only to the Scholarship Committee of the Board of Directors.

Financial assistance is available for students entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: APRIL 20th for 1st round awards. Limited financial aid might be available throughout the summer.
